  • A wonderful day in Kruja

The town of Kruja is located 20 km from Tirana at the foot of Mount Kruja which provides a great panoramic view of nearby fields. Kruja is famous for its castle which in the 15th century was a battle field where the national hero of Albania – Skanderbeg – successfully resisted several battles against the Ottoman army. Explore the history of Albania in the National Skanderbeg Museum, visit the Ethnographic Museum to find out more about the cultural heritage of the country and its traditions. A great supplement to the walking tour in Kruja is a visit to an Old Bazaar which is presented a great variety of local handycrafts workshops and souvenirs markets.

  • Berat

Berat is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Albania. The town of thousands windows is located in a pictresque region at the foot of Mount Tomorr (2416 m) in the valley of the Osum river. The scenic landscapes can be viewed from the ancient walls of the castle which is a home of local people whose houses are neghbouring Bizantine churches and mosques built during the Ottoman era. A walking tour in old quarters of Mangalem and Gorica with a visit to the Ethnographic Museum. The historical center of Berat is a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008.

It is one of the most ancient cities in Albania located near Skadar Lake which is the natural border between Albania and Montenegro.   • Koman Lake boat tour

A journey to the North of Albania where high mountains and green fields give a beginning to mountain rivers and lakes. The boat tour takes you through amazing lanscapes of Lake Koman which was created during the Soviet times as a large water reservoir for hydro power stations. The town of Lezha is the place where the League of Lezha was founded in 1444 to resist the battles against the Ottoman armies. Here you can see a tomb of Skanderbeg (George Kastrioti) – the national hero of Albania. A visit to the castle built by the Illyrian tribes where you can enjoy the panoramic view of nearby valleys and the Adriatic sea coastline. The tour continues to the modern resort of Shengjin where you can have a rest on a wide sandy beachb.

Blue Eye is located in the park area under the shade of old trees where you can have a lunch while listening to the murmuring Bistrica River.
